About Alexander Skarsgard

Alexander is the tall, Swedish actor you'll find playing Eric Northman in the popular HBO series True Blood. He was once voted Sweden's sexiest man (and the rest of the world probably wouldn't disagree).

He is the son of the actor Stellan Skarsgard. Alexander has been fairly famous in Sweden for quite a while and his popularity in the states is beginnig to skyrocket because of his role as the sexy sheriff in the vampire HBO series.

He is going to appear in a new thriller, Straw Dogs, with Kate Bosworth and James Marsden. Filming is said to begin in August 2009.
